Dennis:

Congratulations. Looking forward to seeing more pictures. Others also know
about restoration projects being behind expected schedules. Quite normal, I
suspect.

Well with the last few days being real nice I have virtually finished
the tractor. All that is left is decals, new seats and touchup of the
bolts that I dinged the paint off.It turned out really nice. I will be
posting the new pics to the site tomorrow I hope.. Thanks to all that
have gave advice and help along the way. I hope I can pass it forward to
help others also.. I started this project back in OCT of 2003 with the
intent of replacing a bearing in the governor. Then I found the weights
had hammered the collar and the gear that drives the fan shaft got a
tooth broken trying to remove it.. At that point, I said aw what the
heck I will do a quick 6 month resto and be back in business.. Well July
of last year came and went (The tractors 50th birthday by the archives)
and I missed my deadline.. Oh well it has been rewarding to say the
least. Now the new project is a dollhouse for my little one, then a
flarebox wagon for my older daughter.
