I agree with Greg.  Don't forget to retorque the head after you get the
engine up to operating temperature.  

Greg, are you aware the new gasket sets don't have lead washers.  They
have copper washers.  Are lead washers still available?

I always used the specified torque
I use CopperKote on the gasket, put the smooth side to the block and
don't forget TWO lead 
washers on each stud on the D
