I would like both. I am looking to replace my tap extractor that seems to have disappeared, and I would love to come up with an original JD nozzle tool.

Ok, now you legitimately have me confused. Are you looking for a Tap
Extractor or a Nozzle Extractor?

Dean,
The tap is broken, and the nozzle is junk, don't
need either, just want to have a tap extractor again.
They are usually only good for a use or two. I went
after this one with a reverse 1/4" drill bit, I got
the nozzle to spin the the casting and then it was
mine.
I will order a new nozzle from Burrey Carb
Service. I have 4 other carbs to go through, and as
a mechanic they thread thing works, but as a
collector I want the correct tool. Wven if I just
paint it green and put it on a shelf.. (sorry, I have
been reading Greg's book on Two Cylinder Collectibles,
I had to paraphrase there)
I use the #10 on B carbs and the likes, but
1/4-20 works better on the A carbs.
