I was at a tractor pull onetime and watched this Case outpull everything in 
its weight class. Afterwards he told me he removed the head put kid's play 
dough in the cylinder and determined how much clearance between the head and 
valves. He then machined a steel plate of mostly that thickness and bolted 
it to the pistons with countersunk bolts.
I hear it is still running altho I don't know why..........
