[Farmall] Leaking cylinder head

I have never had a problem like that, maybe because I have never seen an
H head that has "sleeves" in the head for the studs. Second, if the nuts
(with washers under them) are torqued down properly, it would be very
unlikely that anything would get past them. And third, there is no place
where coolant comes anywhere near the holes for the studs (in the head),
unless someone put the studs back into the block the wrong place (some
were longer than others, and they are protruding into the water jacket,
and the coolant is coming up from the block. If that is the case, then
you need to remove all the studs and put them in the right places. Or
you could try removing the ones where the leak occurs and putting
plumber's pipe thread sealer on the threads on the block ends.

too little. -Franklin D. Roosevelt, 32nd US President (1882-1945)
