[AJD] When did the 6 x 9" OM's & PLB's replace DIR's for Styled tractors?

I have wondered for some time when the 6 x 9" Operators Manuals and Parts
List Books replaced the DIR versions on styled Letter Series tractors. I
just found a reference to answer this question in JD Field Service Bulletin
153-S dated June 15, 1946.

The A, AR-AO, B, BR-BO, D, GM & H DIR replacement OM's & PLB's were
announced in this FS Bulletin. The D version was "In the making" at the time
of this publication. 

OM's = Operators Manuals
PLB's = Parts List Books
