        Hey Walt,

            Tell us about the Noble tree......I've never heard of them. 
(Probably as common as
        mud !)

            Incidentally,  the CVE aircraft carrier I was on in WW2 was built 
in Vancover WA
        and the flight deck was made of Douglas Fir.  The story goes that all 
the flight deck
        planking was harvested from the forests nearby.
