[AT] Gasoline $

I filled up in Perry Mich yesterday (8-30-05) as they were raising the
price from $2. 69.0 to $3.00.9 The station manager said that "they" expect a
shortage of gas in the northern states that are some distance from a
refinery. Seeing as how the only refinery in Michigan was closed some time
ago I wouldn't be surprised to see #3.50 or more in a week or two. Our trips
are limited to Dr's appointments and then only if really necessary and
combining these trips with groceries run. Park the tractors and let the
grass grow. I'm really feeling for the folks down in harm's way. I also
think that this country's monetary "foreign aid"
should be suspended till we take care of our own!!! Regards to all. John
Grant
