   First prime everything with etching primer. It is two part primer, 
one coat is fine. Then go to non-sanding primer on all the iron, and a 
sanding primer reducer on the rims, and tin parts. Then you will sand 
the tin with block for reduction of all the pin holes and small dents. 
Repeat as necessary. Blow and wash clean. Clean with dupont "Prep-Sol"
  Paint. The IH 2150 red is fine. But you might want to add hardener, 
and reduce with better reducer than the IH reducer sold under  a New 
Holland label. It is trash.
