[AT] A new trend in tools

Farmer:

Boy have I noticed that and not just related to tools only. I have quite
often resorted to industrial scissors and/or tin shears at times.

I've noticed that a lot of small items are packaged in large clear molded
packages to try to prevent shop lifting I guess. I had become convinced that
nobody would steal the darn things anyway because they were impossible to
open. :-) Sometimes the solution is worse than the problem.

There has to be a better way!

Have you noticed that now when you buy some new tools that you must
have at least one or
two other tools just to get the dang thing out of the package? I have bought
a few small
electronic items and was in fear of breaking them getting them cut out of
the package.
What do old people do? You know, people older than me... :-)
