[AJD] Powersteering question

Steve,
I hate to disagree with you, but this time I think you have it
wrong. You see, 70 John Deeres were never meant to be shipped south with
power steering. There they were to be operated by the hired hands. Here
in Iowa, it was the owner/operator that used the model 70 and therefore
power steering was made available for us. I am thinking that if that silly
jet pilot were to send that super nice 70 up here to be placed under my
care, the foaming would go away. What do you think?

Aw heck, you are probably right. However, when that system has
been apart for whatever reason, it takes awhile for the air to work its way
out. We used to just turn it full travel and let it by-pass for awhile
each way. That seemed to get the air out of ours and stop the jerky
action. I am hoping it is that simple for Dennis to fix, because I suppose
I am to far away for him to deliver the tractor, and I am too busy to go
get it.
