Sorry to yank on this one but; Believe me you need at least 512 or 1GB 
if using Windows 2000 or  XP for an OS.  I would not want to do what you 
are expecting without Windows XP with latest patches.
I have a couple of  PIII running XP that I would be willing to 
contribute but you really need more than that if you expect to use it 
for ?? years. Let me see at what cost my hardware class can build one 
and get back to you.
