Joe:
That may be the plow that JD made specifically to be used behind Ford
tractors. I want to say the first model JD 45?? plow was made for use behind
the Ford tractors. I better look it up. If we get lucky the plow parts
catalog will call out the bottoms used on that specific plow. On later
plows, the plow Parts Catalogs don't describe the bottoms. Then one has to
try to figure out what bottoms are on the plow you own to try to match up
parts using a Plow Bottom Parts Catalog. I think the part number will be
cast (embossed) or stamped on the back side of the land slide on your
existing plow.
I'll do a little research to see if I can find out what the plow model may
be and see if I can determine what bottoms were used with it. A few digital
pictures of your specific plow would be a big help.

Dean,
No tail wheel on the plow. I don't know the part number, but I can check.
It's a high-wheel plow that was used behind a Fordson when it was new
(according to the guy I bought it from).
Enjoy, Joe

Joe:
I might be able to refer you to a place that might have the landslides you
need for your JD plow. What are the JD part numbers of the landslides you
need? Do you have a tail wheel on the plow?

Our club has our annual plow day scheduled in two weeks. I've been thinking
about trying to go, but have been having a hard time deciding what plow to
use. I want to bring my Case C on full steel, and thought it would look
best
pulling a two bottom plow on steel. My best option is an old John Deere
plow I
have, but the landslides are broken on each of the bottoms. Do I really
need
these to make it work properly? I don't think I could ever find
replacements
for them. I'd really like to find a decent Case plow on steel to use, but
I'm
pretty much out of time. Thanks for your help.
Enjoy, Joe
