I thought it was "a dollar to a sack full of stale donuts".
I definitely agree on the weights. I am having all the same problems
you are. It is definitely the govmint's fault.
Here in Iowa we have a tax advantage to using ethanol. Last week I
fueled in Kansas for $2.39 88 oct. gasoline. 60 miles later I was in
Oklahoma and the pumps said $2.19 for the same thing. Damn! I suspect
the bio diesel will be that same way in the soybean processing areas.
AGP is making it here at their Salix plant.
Farmland prices have gone nuts again along with scrap iron, fuel, you
name it. Yep....sounds like the 80's again to me, too.
I cannot go to any auctions. Big money is needing spent on the
sprayer. Ruining my whole spring. Things in this particular area are
selling rather cheap, also. Or so I have heard. It would not be the
case if I were there. <g>
