[Farmall] F-12 Tinkering --- stuck on brakes

Removing the brake drums was one of the first steps in my F-14
restoration a few years ago. See http://www.timwafer.com/f14.html

As I recall I used a large gear puller, which hooked at the outer edge
and pulled them off with considerable force. Not only was it rusted to
the shaft but also the shoes were rusted solid to the drums and had to
be broken in order to get the drums off. It sat outside for 40 years in
a hedgerow before I got it. I may have heated around the shaft and am
sure I used lots of PB blaster. I eventually put new seals in it anyway.
Basically one of those things that have to be cussed apart!

<>Good luck!
