Looking for any suggestions or advice. I'm replacing the 1 1/8 PTO shaft on
my 1951 Ferguson TO-20 with a new 1 3/8 shaft, primarily because the old
seal
is leaking badly. Also, do I need to drain the transmission, etc. first or
can
I just park in a nose down position? Thanks for any information.

You can park it in a nose down position if you can get it on about a 45 deg
angle. I would drain the fluid and clean out the sump and screen if it has
one at this time.... Can't stress clean oil enough in these...
