The pollution is still pretty bad but outside the big cities not asmuch,
the food is absolutely to die for and in fact i will probably will, haha.
The poorest people on earth sit outside buildings containing the probably
some of the richest, much of oldchina is rapidly dissapearing and the big
cities are much more modern than what we have here in the states.really
strange when you see a sheep herder in the middle of Tibet, whip out his
cell phone to make a call. Coverage for phones in china is light years
ahead of the states. The discos here are crowded and LOUD. The volume
control is an off-on switch. Mostof the farm equipment here is hand tools
and sone very interestign ones, all so much differnet then what we have. If
I dont die from being run over by a taxi or die from eating too much food i
should have my GP up and runnng for the June meet in Chehalis, Wash. See
you there.

I was in China 10 years ago, I have no interest in ever going back.
Their pollution makes LA look pristine. I was coughing my head off for
2 weeks after I got home, along with everyone else in our group.

I have been taking parts off of a GP which has front steel wheels. One
is very good condition the other not so good. What are they worth?
Maybe I can purchase and ship to someone if needed. I wont be making any
profit, just a courtesy. Right now I am in an internet cafe in Nanning
China, so anyone interested would need to wait about a month or more.
By the way, I would estimate that over 90-95% of all farming here is
still done by hand and by ox. Amazing!!

Luke
Other than the fact I wish I had your steel wheels (!) give Kim Johnson
a call, he used
to make skid rings. He is in Cloquet, MN and his # is 218-729-7143 or at
least that's
the last # I have.
