I just found a picture of a tractor from my past.  I didn't know pictures 
any existed.  My son Steve, now 51, is sitting on the H and I think it's his 
cousin John on the Farmall A.  The picture was taken on the day of the home 
farm auction.  Here's the unbelievable part... the two tractors together 
brought $300 in good working condition.  The H was sold with it's mounted 
plow and 2 row cultivator.  Maybe I'll get lucky and find a picture of the 
'48 JD A that sold for about $200.
