I feel real sorry for all of you that are hit by thoose hurricanes, here we had rain all summer instead (we never have that kind of wheather though, i Lived in a place south of wher I live now that got two METERS of snow in 24 hours both 1986 and 1987) but finally we had our share of real bad weather http://www.sterilecreed.com/weather/ ;-)

ATIS darn near washed away - my 5" rain gauge nearly overflowed (maybe
5-1/3" I guess) in less than 12 hours. East of Winston (I am West) I'll
bet got the most. Flooding _everywhere_ around here and tornados last
night just east of us. The power went out several times for long periods
but fortunately my Internet access for ATIS didn't and power didn't stay
out longer than my battery backup could hold.

Whew - I am done with water. That's all I have to say.
