[AJD] More JD 40 Carb and other stuff

Duane,

The old seat is a 3/8 - 24 and the new seat is probably 3/8 - 27 because it looks close but slightly different and the 3/8 - 24 nut won't fit on it.  For some reason these new seats do not fit in my 1953 40 or my 1955 40.  Both seem to be 3/8 - 24.

Now what do I do?
