[AT] 1641 Starter/Was problem with 1641

Ok,
I think I've isolated the problem to my starter. I replaced the battery,
and the negative battery cable which wasn't in the best shape. Now when
the key is turned to start, I get 12.6V at the end of the primary wire
where it attaches to the starter, with the wire removed. The problem is I
cannot get the starter off. I have the lower bolt out, but for the life
of me, I can't get to the upper bolt. Larry, you mentioned a special
tool, or modifying a socket, but I don't see how that works. Does anyone
make a flex extension? The trouble as I see it is that a universal joint
takes up too much room to make the bend. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Mike
