[AT] OT-Problem with Cub Cadet 1641

Pull the starter off?!!! What genius designed this. I tried to get a
socket on the two starter bolts, but the heat shield is too close to
allow a socket to fit. I did notice tonight while looking at the starter
that the starter gear did move when I turned the ignition switch,
indicating I have some power to the starter. I also removed the battery
cables again and scraped them shiny and clean with a razor blade. I then
took out the plugs and spun the engine over, it was free as can be. I
assume this rules out the electronic clutch being hung up, which I did
have happen once before. I'm leaning toward a battery that is FUBR.

Thanks again,
Mike
