Charlie is right , I forgot the wet sleeves in those engines. Freez crack in
the block out here is usally on the left side.

Don, The last time she was running it didn't smoke but did over heat.We
changed the water pump,thermostat and flushed the radiator and that was
fixed. Then I mowed for a bit and a couple of days later checked the oil to
mow again and the oil was way over full.Itook the drain plug out and about a
gallon of coolant came out.

Charlie, thanks for the info, it sounds like the stop leak might be the easy
thing to try first.
