I recently bought a Cub Cadet Big Country 6x4 and I'm extremely pleased
with it. I bought it to replace my aging Cub Cadet Grizzly 4x2. It has a
20HP Honda Engine and 6 wheel independent suspension that floats over the
bumps in the field or woods. Its 6x2 all the time but with a pull of a
lever the differential locks and both rear axles are locked in for 6x4 trail
riding. Also has a large electric powered dump bed with 1000lb capacity and
trailer hitch for 1200lb towing capacity. Two deer will easily fit in the
bed and I hope to give it a workout in the upcoming deer season. I also had
looked at ATV's but figured the Big Country would be much more useful. Many
times I have someone with me so the extra passenger seat comes in handy and
the price was actually much less than most ATV's and considerably less than
a Polaris Ranger. Cabs are available but I think it would be in the way for
deer hunting and driving in the woods. Being a hunting vehicle was as
important for me as being a farm vehicle. Also comes with a 12V power port
which works great for plugging in a spot light or work light.
