[AJD] 2010 Diesel tractor stopped running

I have a 2010 Diesel (I know all about the "difficulties" of owning 
one).  On Monday evening I took it out for a stroll mainly to drive it a 
bit as it has not been driven enough lately.  I ran it for about 5 
minutes and then it quit.  Would not restart.  Turns over freely, seems 
to have compression (it should after the complete engine rebuild two 
years ago), there was fuel in the tank but it seemed that the engine 
wasn't getting fuel. It was nearly dark and I've been traveling since 
then so I haven't had time to give it a proper going over.  I'm guessing 
the problem is either a plugged fuel filter or a blockage in the fuel 
line before the filter (maybe rust in the tank?).  Any other ideas?  My 
plan is to do a proper troubleshoot  when I get back home (probably 
Friday).  Thanks for any advice or ideas.
