[AJD] Wico XB distributor or Magneto?

I have a couple of wico XB,  what I assume are
distributors.  Does anyone have a copy of directions
for them?  What models were they used on?   Were they
an option for the lettered series?

   I just bought another on Ebay (I'm a sucker for a
deal)  and I am wondering how to hook it up so it will
work.  I assume that there is an internal coil and I
just need to attach a hot wire and time it correctly?
