Aw, Geez, John, now you've gone and done it. Once the word
gets out it is going to drive the price of Dodge's with Cummins
diesels up out of sight. ha ha ha ha I have to tell you, driving
my 97 Dodge 2500 pickup with the Cummins makes me smile every time
I hook on to a load. I have a 98 GMC with the GM diesel also and it
couldn't carry the fuel for the Dodge. FWIW, I also get 15 mpg or
better with the Dodge pulling an 8K# load and just over 20 around
the area on short drives. I hope it never wears out. With almost
160K miles on it, it is just about broken in. We pay more for our
trailer licenses here in New York than you do. My 20' beavertail
costs me $34.50 a year here. It is still a bargain as there is no
insurance to worry about here either. I don't haul as many tractors
as you do but still, I've hauled quite a few.
