Sounds like a bunch of fun to me. I agree with whomever it was that said it
sounded like more than a weeks work, though. You may get an opportunity to
rent it for another week! :o)

becoming an antique tractor but will be used along with my old
JD stuff to clear the stumps where we will be placing a new home.
The local heavy equipment dealer is delivering a new Komatsu
PC-200 excavator to the property this afternoon and it is mine to
play with for the whole week. If you want to check it out, here
is the link to the Komatsu excavators. Just scroll down to the
PC-200 and you can see what it is. Definitely not a toy. You may
have to paste twice to get that long URL into your browser but
it will work OK.

I rented it for the week because I get full use of it for
up to a full 40 hours on the meter before I get into extra charges.
I counted stumps I have to pull until I got tired of it and quit
after going over 100. All hardwood and some are over 2 feet wide at
the top and have about a 10 foot crown. In addition to the stumps,
if I have time, I am going to dig out where I want the driveway to
go so I can lay down a bed of heavy crushed stone as a base. I also
have literally hundreds of large rocks that I would like to move
from where they are so I can make golf cart trails on the property.

I've been in the seat of excavators before but not this one.
I have to learn the controls first and then go to work. Should be a
very interesting week.

Cecil
