[AJD] Model 40 J.D.

I don't use this tractor very often and the battery doesn't stay
charged. I am saving all the parts ,that I will have to remove,so the
tractor can be restored to orginal condition at a later time. I plan to
use this tractor for "backup" purposes and restore it in my retirement
years.

Why change it.  The 6 volt will do well and you'll be original.  I have
a 420 converted with the 6 volt starter and that bendix hits hard.
Sometimes locks up.
