That makes sense, Mark.  I noticed lugs and bosses on the casting that
wouldn't have been there on a regular Cub engine and that looked out of
place on the tractor.  It looked like the engine could have been bolted
down to a frame, but it is cantilevered from the "back end" -- totally
supported by the bell housing just like the N-62 engine is on the
Allis-G.

That would be a Cub engine. I believe its the stationary version of the
Cub
C-60 engine.
