The John Blue Company started producing farm implements in 1886 in
Laurinburg, North Carolina and moved to Huntsville, Alabama in 1945. they built
the model G-1000 tractor for gardeners and nurseries.
John Blue is still in business and are a big manufacturer of sprayer and
application equipment.

Unfortunately, like Larry, CRS prevents me from remembering the engine
powering the G-1000.

: Cecil,
: We had a pair of the John Blue tractors at the Xenia Ohio show for
: several years. They weren't there this year though.
: I had talked to the owner and he said they were to replace the Allis G.
: They were a good bit larger and had more
: power and good hydraulics. I think they may have been too big for the
: produce farmers though. Apparently they
: never sold in big numbers. I don't remember what they used for power,
: maybe brother Gene does. He always
: remembers the details.
