[AT] Time to 'fess up

My property includes about 8 acres of "black dirt" or "muck", formerly a
celery and onion farm. I can cut grass up to a certain point, but then
it just becomes marsh beyond that, mainly due to the old ditches filling
up. In the spring this area holds water, and the ground is very, very
soft. I usually try to cut in the less soggy areas as soon as I can to
keep it from getting ahead of me, but I usually end up going in too soon
and getting stuck. This year was so wet that I never even tried - the
spring rains plus the remnants of Hurricane Ivan filled the marsh right
up, and it hasn't gone back down yet.
