Tom,

If you can find a good used brake band, you should get it, Instead of
paying Deere $245. You can have the used one relined for about $60.

Just a thought.

Lou

Subject: [AJD] AR Parts

Need some help on this one. The wife and I bought a 1945 Unstyled, AR
this
past weekend. The only thing missing is the service brake. Anyone know
where we
can get the parts from the pedal to the brake band? I work at a John
Deere
dealer and have already found out that almost all of these parts are
obsolete.
The brake band with lining is still available...... for $245.00!!! So
I
can get that new. I just need the hardware from the pedal to the brake
band.
This tractor only has 1 brake and that's how it came from the factory,
no
turning brakes on this one. Thanks in advance,
