[AT] Dumb tractor hauler truck question

What year is the truck?  I think the newer ones may adjust the speedo with
the computer.

My oldest son had a bad ignition part start cross-firing his 96 suddenly to
the point it wouldn't run.  My middle son put it on the computer and told
him he was going 47 mph in 5th gear and even the engine RPM when it failed.
