I do agree that it doesn't belong on this list.......however...
to set you straight a bit......it may not have been as it is made out to be
but it is true....
I am a vet of that time and when I came home(yes in Montana)it did in fact
happen!!!!Not spit on but some things worse......like the questions of why
did you go?  and they all knew that there was a draft with an 8 yr.
obligation(yes obligation)but I went obligation or not and did not go to
another country to escape.....I was proud till I came home to that!
