Another thought Dean.  The radiator shop would use a hot caustic solution to 
boil it out.  Maybe you could do your own with hot water and Red Devil Lye. 
Just be careful.     Or rig fill the tank with water and washing soda and do 
an electrolysis cleaning of the inside.
