Subject: [AT] OFF TOPIC - New Job
Well, I started a new job today. I am the new manager of the detail/make
ready department
at Johnson Brothers Ford in Temple, Texas. It's something completely
different for me as it
doesen't involve electronic repair of any type. Like my son told me, "Dad,
you're going to
manage the car wash at the Ford dealer". It's a bit more involved than
that, but not much.
It does pay a bit more, but the big difference is that I am a company
employee, not a
contractor. There will be benefits after the 90 day probationary period.
Something I would never
have had as a contractor. Anyone in the area that's looking for a new or
used car, come on
by and see what we have to offer. Lotsa pickups, gas and diesel on the
"pre-owned" lot
right now.
Phil
