[AT] Case VAC question

Probably caused by the hood prop rod. They must be stored in the forward
position when the hood is closed. If you swing the prop to the rear and drop the
hood, the prop rod will be on top of the gas tank and the hood hits it when it
comes down..

Subject: [AT] Case VAC question

: I have a '46 Case VAC. The hood has never fit right, and it has some dents
: and dings in it. I was looking at another one a while back and it had
: the exact same ding in the hood. The ding I am talking about is about
: center in the hood, and a few inches back from the dash. I thought that
: the hood may have came down hard on one of the battery terminals.
: Now I am begining to wonder if the ding is stock, or a common ding that
: all of these get.
