Here it's the other way around, it's cheaper at the countryside than in the towns and especially the "big" ones like Stockholm. Of course we also benifit from that the newest "chain" of gasstations Qstar are specilized in small automatic stations in places so far out in the woods that no one sold gas there for 50 years if ever. They are cheapest by buying gas from the lowest bidder in the harbor each day and small costs for personnel and other facilities. Of course you can't get much service from them other than get gas at places you never dreamt of (finding any in). One of their slogans is "We are where you least expect it"
Of course I buy the diesel for my tractor there ;-)
