My gas tank sticks are all pieces of old broom handle. Some have 1" marks filed in them. The Super M
loader tractor always carries a small crowbar which doubles as a fuel gauge (see my other post about risk). The
Deere 4020 has a vertical cylinder shaped tank and requires a much longer piece of broom handle for a gauge.
I would think that with all of the brooms I have worn out that my shop would be cleaner... :-) Maybe I
should get them "re-strawed". Hey, there is a business opportunity for somebody. Re-straw brooms, operate
like a recap shop. :-)
