Guess what I got in the mail today. Jd part number AA5678R.. just what I
had been looking for to convert my All fuel hood to a Gas hood. Now it
will really look interesting and drive the "experts" crazy.. I have not
found anybody that even knew about them more than even seen one.. The
story on this part is a guy has a all fuel tractor and wanted my hood
but I requested a equal or better gas hood for the 70.. He could not
find one to match the condition of mine, then I find and old address  of
a guy who parts out stuff and ask him if he had a 70 gas hood.. He did
but it was for a early tractor not like mine the later version. A week
later he comes back and says he has another hood and sent me pictures..
Low and behold covering the small tank hole is the very gem I have been
looking for 3 years. So I struck a deal for the long hood to go to the
guy wanting mine and today in the mail shows up the little plug.. Some
days its nice to have Christmas early.  I don't have a 50 or 60 catalog
but does this part show up in those tractors also??
