[AT] Time don't mean nothin' to a hog

Down in central Texas a hardware salesman was driving down a backroad when he spotted a farmer holding up a hog and allowing it to eat an apple.  As soon as one hog finished his apple the farmer would pick up another.  The salesman just had to turn around and see what this guy was thinking.  He stopped at the gate, got out and introduced himself the the farmer, Ricky.  He said Sir, I don't want to get into your business, but would it not be easier if you knocked the apples off of the tree and let the hogs eat them off of the ground.  The farmer replied without hesitation, "Might be, but you know time don't mean nothin' to a hog."

I think the farmers name started with a P something.
