Well, now I know why grampa put the lime in the big tub and let it sit for a 
few days when I made the mortar with it to put up the concrete blocks in the 
dining room behind the fireplace in the living room when I was about 15 he 
taught me a lot that summer building the new house for he and gramma. Funny how 
you can live your whole life and then learn something about what you did as kid.
