Get a rose bud (very large tip with multiple holes in it) for your gas  torch 
and heat the outside till its red then if it won't budge just tap the  
outside with a large hammer to knock the rust loose.  Using a large flat  hammer 
will keep from denting the piece just tap it it lightly. The inner part  is held 
in with rust.
