Gus, thanks for the tip on the penny! The serial number plate may be a
problem though as this tractor has had the seat relocated and welded
sometime in the last 50 years.... Any other possibilities? Thanks.

[AT] Farmall A? questionGuys, I am working on a Farmall for a friend and I
am not sure where to findthe serial numbers etc.... This is an offset
tractor with the letter seriesgrille, so I am nearly certain that it is an A
Among other things thesteering is totally out of adjustment and might be
worn out. I am notworried about adjusting it, it appears to be pretty
similar to othersteering I have worked on, but I am wondering if I am
correct that thelinkages are also adjustable. I am referring to the linkages
on the frontthat go to the front axles naturally. Thanks all.Grant
BriansHollister Californiap.s. I hate it when I don't have a manual for a
tractor, but I certainlyhave fixed a few under those
circumstances!_______________________________________________AT mailing
