[AT] Southeast Old Threshers' Reunion June 30th-July4th

I'm planning on being there that Saturday. As Charlie said, it can be
THE HOTTEST PLACE ON EARTH!! However, last year (my 4th visit) really
wasn't that bad. We arrived that morning about 10 am and probably
stayed until 3 or 4. It was plenty warm but not unbearable....which was
good as the average age of my little group (4 of us) was about 60, two
of which were pushing 80!! Had my great-uncle, his son-in-law and
brother-in-law and we had a blast. Lotta fun going to one of these
things with somebody that remembers when a lot of that machinery was
new! :) I think the best strategy is plan a multi-day trip, retreating
to the shade or a cool hotel room in the heat of the day.

I'M NOT GETTING MY LIST MAIL!!!!

I don't know when this tread started but this is the first I've seen of
it.
Could someone tell me how many list messages they have gotten in the
last 24
hours or for some specific time period. Does anyone else have this
problem? I'm getting hardly any mail from the list.

BTW Cecil, You are right. That Denton show is even TOO HOT for me. I
love
the show but the heat is unbearable most years. Anyone going to that
show
needs an air conditioned motor home or a nearby motel room to retreat to
in
the middle of the day.
