[AT] Allis Chalmers WD or WD45?

Jim; My source also says it's a 56  WD-45. Now take a look for a boss on the
left side of the block just to the rear of the carb. and see if you can find
a number there, again starting with WD. While you're looking at the engine,
take a look at the right side of the block. See if there is a large metal
plate covering the camshaft, lifters and pushrods, bolted to the side of the
block. If there is no plate, the  engine is a 45 engine.
Thanks for the info. I'm glad to help. We'll get into it deeper when we find
out exactly what you have.
