Looks a lot like my 1943 Case SI it had the  square grill but no shutters 
only an expanded metal grill.  when i bought  it i got real cheap because the PO 
didn't know anything about it. He thought it  was made in the 50s and did not 
know how rare SIs are. When the tranny threw a  bearing I donated it to the 
Brookes Antique Tractor Museum. They were sure happy  about that.
