Richard, before Reassembling any hose connections , I Always put a little
refergrant oil on the O-Rings and hose fittings . Do not overtighten them,
pull a vacumn to BOIL out the moisture in system, then charge unit . IF you
have a LOW PRESSURE switch on the dryer, you will need to JUMP it in order
for the compressor to run and to be able to charge the system .
The LOW PRESSURE Switch keeps from burning up the compressor when your
system gets low on freon .
