Clint,
   In the Caterpillar manual it says that you can remove the pins and then 
turn them 180 degrees and put them back in. As the pins only wear on one side 
this is a good way to save money and get twice the wear out of them. One thing 
that we did on the cats was to heat the rail push the pin out then after you 
return it cool it off with water this will set the pin tight again. You have to 
work fast and be ready to turn the pin before the rail cools off to much.
